How you would became a digital nomad for the first time? Which was is the determining factor? How are you started in?
I first became a digital nomad in January 2017. I started my first online business in November 2015, and I had always wanted to become location independent. About one year later in November 2016, I was confident enough and prepared enough to start planning my digital nomad journey and work solely online. I realized that I had perfect timing to start my journey because I don’t have a wife, I don’t have kids, and I didn’t have a day job keeping me trapped in Seattle either! So I took the jump and moved to Medellin Colombia.
No doubt, i can say that know many people would be interested in know, how traveling cheap? Tell us all about of how make it with the right tools.
I travel cheap thanks to tools like Scott’s Cheap Flights which helped me find great deals on international flights to and from the US. I also used Airbnb to find great deals on short term rentals, and asked digital nomad Facebook groups for recommendations on good areas to stay in. More importantly than finding cheap options – I figured out how to make more money!
Advice #1 : To built income and start traveling the world as digital nomad
I started my agency in November 2015, and it was really slow growing until about April. Then we started getting more projects, more income, and more profit. At this point, I started making better money just online and was able to see that becoming a digital nomad wasn’t too far off. I currently earn money online through done for you marketing services, consulting, affiliate marketing, and info product sales.
Advice #2: Have skills on sales funnel into the Digital Marketing would work good to digital nomads at times.
I am a sales funnel and Facebook ads specialist, and these two skills alone have helped me grow my business a lot in the last 6 months. These skills helped me generate a lot more income and have more profits to invest into my travels and living abroad.
Advice #3 Never give up To your ideas and CRAZY projects.
I think people should never give up on their crazy ideas and goals because chances are, they’re not that crazy after all and you’re a lot closer than you think to achieving them. Life is too short to live a boring one – so you should go have some adventures and live it up! Well, I would love that you tell me how you managed to get many media contacts to talk about your work and history, the group on Facebook and how this initiative emerged in addition to your work with customers.
I ended up growing my online presence, Facebook group, and getting a lot of media appearances very early on because I was able to link up with a lot of other producers. They saw my journey, they saw how I grew, and they saw how I started living my dreams and travelling often.
